We have a wide assortment of purrfect companions that are looking for that one special home. We have cats/kittens of all ages. They all have very unique personalities and we are confident there is one waiting for YOU!! We encourage adopting the younger ones in pairs either with their siblings or one they are bonded with.

For more information on the available cats and kittens, please message us. We would be happy to set up a time when you can come visit them and arrange a week trial visit in your home. Adoption contract, vet and personal references as well as a home visit will be required. This is to ensure they go to the very best homes!

Paws and Love, Inc. takes in at risk, homeless, abandoned, orphaned or stray cats and kittens. These kittens have for some reason, found themselves living on the streets. They do not know when or where they will eat next, where they will find safety and shelter and most will not receive proper medical treatment. These innocent ones have not even been given the chance to live their life. Whatever the reason, we are committed to meeting their physical and emotional needs.

Our tiniest rescues are placed in loving foster homes, sometimes they have a mother and other times they are orphans. We have a very experienced bottle feeder who tirelessly gives herself to them day and night to ensure they grow up healthy and ready for the big world.

All intakes will first be tested for feline leukemia and FIV. They will then be spayed or neutered, receive their rabies vaccine after they are 12 weeks old, get their fvrcp shot, be dewormed and have any medical issues addressed and treated, such as fleas or other illnesses.

They are then quarantined for a short period so we can monitor them for illness, and also learn their personalities. After that they are free to roam about, either in their foster homes, or in their special kitty area, until they are adopted.

When you are ready to begin the adoption process we ask that you contact us and we will set up a home visit and have you fill out an adoption application. Once your application has been completed and approved by us, we will set up a time for you to visit with our cats. Then you will be able to socialize with them to see which one will best fit into your family.

After picking out your “purr”fect companion, you will pay the adoption fee and take your new family member home!!  You will need to provide a carrier for transport.

Once the paperwork has been completed and the adoption fee is paid, you will be able to take your new companion home. We do conduct post-adoption visits, to ensure the placement is working well for everyone and of course we encourage you to send in pictures and stories of your “happy tails”.
